It is a project of social holiness within the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico (MCPR). ReHace was incorporated in 2002 as a nonprofit organization. It has the 501c(3) and 1101 exemptions and it focuses in supporting social projects related to education and disaster management. More than 100 Methodist congregations in the Puerto Rican archipelago and in St. Croix support us in identifying resources and projects with a communitarian scope.
Since it was founded, ReHace’s work has been channeled through:
Community Health Clinics
Guidance and Trainings
Due to hurricanes Irma and María’s passage over Puerto Rico, ReHace’s work becomes even more pertinent. Through MCPR’s contribution, as well as alliances with public and private organizations and an important donation from the North American organization United Methodist Committee on Relief of the United Methodist Church in the United States, ReHace started the project Reborn, Revive, Rebuild: Puerto Rico’s Comprehensive Recovery Plan.
